Which Option Suits You Best?
Most intended parents are aware they want to have a child or become parents through surrogacy or egg donation, but there are a few problems that may arise considering their options:
- TS and GS – WHAT'S BEST FOR MY FAMILY?
- Who uses Egg Donor, Surrogate, or Both?
- Who Considers PGS/PGD?
- Which Surrogacy or Egg Donation program is right for me?
To clearly understand the above and choose the right option, intended parents first need to understand the "Natural Conception Process" and "Where Do Babies Come From?"
Where Do Babies Come From?
The simplest answer is that they come from inside of the mother.
All intended parents know or give this answer, but most of them are unaware of the details and the reproductive process.
In fact, to natural conception, 2 Persons, 3 Elements and 4 Steps must have or occur:
2 Persons: Male and Female.
3 Elements: Sprm, Eggs and Uterus.
4 Steps: Sperm Transport, Egg Transport, Fertilization and embryo development, Implantation.

Natural conception is the reproductive process when sperm enters the vagina, travels through the cervix into the uterus (womb) and to one of the fallopian tubes, where fertilization of a mature egg occurs. The resulting embryo(Blastocyst) then travels to the uterus and implantation to the uterine wall for pregnancy.
In this process, when these elements are absent or steps fail to occur, pregnancy is not possible or infertility is caused. Causes of infertility vary, and the intended parents may choose different Fertility Treatment Options or Third-Party ART, such as: Intrauterine insemination (IUI), In vitro fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), PGS/PGD screening. also and use donor eggs, donor sperm or donor embryos, gestational carrier or traditional surrogate.
